Important Information regarding competitions in Australia
Every state and territory in Australia has its own laws in relation to competitions or what are called trade promotions.
For example, in NSW you require a permit if the prize pool is over $10 000 in value or if a scratch and win promotion is on offer - regardless of value. The ACT and Northern Territory have different rules again. Our Blog (available here) provides a great summary of the different rules across the various states and territories of Australia.
